Great staff, super nice. Shop was small but cozy, nice vibe. There's some outdoor seating too. All the food was excellent, the fried sushi were a nice change from the usual. Great texture and flavour. They even import their fish from Japan. Food tastes better than the bigger sushi franchises dotted around. Real heart in the food, treat you like family

On a tourist-trap street where all of the other food was overpriced, you might expect this reasonably-priced restaurant to lower its standards of quality. But NO! Their food was delicious! I had curry and prawns that were absolutely phenomenal. If you're in Canterbury: First of all, keep driving to Dover, and second of all, stop by here on your way. 5 STARS

Had to comment after getting my Katsu Curry from Uber Eats today. Honestly this was best I’ve had, even compared to ones I’ve been lucky enough to try in Japan. The chicken was moist but with a good texture, and the panko stayed nice and crispy even with the curry sauce on top. …More reviews

The chicken was moist but with a good texture, and the panko stayed nice and crispy even with the curry sauce on top. The sauce itself was spot on, with a balanced peppery kick.
Even the veg was cooked just right, just shy of al dente so it still had that crunch. It might sound simple, but it’s that kind of precision that makes it stand out. I’ll definitely be ordering again very soon.- Service

The shop is small but the service level is fabulous. The waitress who took our order and served us was very well manner and polite. We really enjoyed the food and service, absolutely delicious — loved it!

Food feels very authentic, full of flavours, and something that the chefs have poured their passion, skills and heart into every dishes. More so the service and the environment were really friendly and our server was amazing and very engaging and enthusiastic. Everything is amazing! Strongly recommend dining here if you are into Japanese food. The sushi roll is fantastic with the homemade sauce, you definitly cannot missed it. The service is soooo lovely, gonna come back soon :)

The sushi here is delicious! So happy there is a sushi place in Canterbury now, I had cucumber maki which was lovely, the customer service here was also very kind and friendly. Also there’s places here to eat. Recommended !!

Super cosy place with lovely staff and fantastic food! The decor and vibe is chill and welcoming, the staff are so friendly and attentive, and the food was really great - the miso soup was some of the best I’ve had, and all the sushi we had was delicious. Our favourite thing was the Mittsu special sushi with soft crab, really good. My new fave Japanese spot in Canterbury! Can’t wait to go back

There seem to be a lot of Japanese restaurants in Canterbury and this one is worth a visit. We had the Sashimi,sushi platter,seaweed Chicken Katsu and Chicken ramen. All very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Please make this a coherent review We stumbled across this place while looking for a quick bite before the theatre and I am so glad we did. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was divine and the bill very reasonable. We will definitely be regular customers.
